Poem: “Where the Moonlight Lingers”

“Where the Moonlight Lingers”
by SilentPoet

Your body is not just a body—
it’s a story whispered in sighs,
where every curve is a question
and I answer with my eyes.

The softness of your neck—
a place where dusk forgets to leave.
My lips learn patience there,
as your breath begins to weave.

The arch of your back,
a sacred skyline I trace with care,
hands memorizing topography
of places only lovers dare.

Your hips hold storms—
gentle, wild, and wide.
I lose myself in tides you summon,
with nothing left to hide.

Each fingertip, a spark,
each kiss — a trembling flame.
You call me without speaking,
and I come without shame.

Your body is a scripture,
written not in ink, but fire.
And I read it like a prayer,
drunk on every whispered desire.

This love—
not just felt, but devoured,
where time dissolves
and the night tastes like power.

Let the world sleep,
while we stay lit—
two shadows dancing,
in the heat of it.
